From Genomics to Harvest Experts at UC Riverside are working to understand the basic science, cultivation, and production of plants and food. From our campus roots as the Citrus Experiment Station and our prized Citrus Variety Collection, to our involvement at the forefront of the UC Global Food Initiative, and an on-campus community garden, UCR is finding new ways to provide a safe, dependable, nutritious food supply to feed our hungry world.
